WE HAVE MOVED!

"And I beheld, and heard the voice of one eagle flying through the midst of heaven,
saying with a loud voice: Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth....

The Apocalypsis according to St. Bernadette Subirous

Lourdes, in the French Pyrenees, is today the most popular Marian Shrine in the world. In 1858, the 14-years old Bernadette Subirous, a poor country girl, had eighteen apparitions of a beautiful, luminous “lady” who, during the 16th apparition on March 25, identified herself as the “Immaculate Conception”, a Marian title defined as a dogma by Pope Pius IX just four years before.

She requested a chapel on the site of her apparition, revealed three secrets to the girl and asked her to dig for a spring. In front of an unbelieving crowd, Bernadette started to remove the earth with her hands, when suddenly fresh water appeared - a spring which, until this day, releases up to a liter of water each second.

“Pray for the poor sinners, pray for a sick world”, the lady told Bernadette and started to heal people who drunk from the water. Since then, the sick of the world came in masses to Lourdes. Over 5000 healings were reported. 64 of them officially classified “miraculous” by the skeptical Church authorities. Bernadette died in 1879. Her body remained uncorrupted. She was beatified in 1925 and canonized in 1933. The text of the “Secrets” was never revealed.

According to the “Schwarzer Brief”, a German-language newsletter for Clerics, of November 4, 1998, Bernadette wrote a letter to Pope Leo XIII. Just before she passed away in 1879. In this letter, she revealed five prophecies for the 20th century. The first three were probably identical with the “three secrets”, the other two were possibly revealed during another apparition.

Bernadette´s letter remained in the Vatican Archives until 1997, when it was discovered by the French Father Antoine LaGrande who searched for material and correspondence on Lourdes. According to LaGrande, the letter consisted of five sheets, which were found in a metal box in the vaults of the Archives. On each sheet, a revelation was written down.

Sheet 1 described the development of the Lourdes sanctuary and predicted that it would become an important place of pilgrimage after Bernadette´s death. Many people would be healed by the water from the spring.
Sheet 2 mentioned important scientific discoveries including “the use of electric energy” and the invention of several types of machines.
Sheet 3 predicted the rise of an evil dictator in Germany (Adolf Hitler) which would cause “something horribly evil”. His rule of terror would end in a war in which “nearly all nations participate”.
Sheet 4 announced that man would fly into Outer Space and eventually land on the moon in or around 1970.

On Sheet 5 was the most detailed text: “Your Holiness, the Holy Virgin told me that with the end of the 20th Century the end of the age of science would follow. A new era of the Faith will begin everywhere on Earth. Eventually the evidence is found that it was God who created the Earth and Man. This will be the beginning of the end of the sciences; the people will not believe in them any longer. Millions will turn back to Christ…”

The Church, Bernadette said, would play a new, important role. The loss of trust in the Sciences, so the seer, was caused by the “haughtiness of the physicians who used their knowledge to create a monster, a creature which is neither man nor beast.” This would cause a public scandal. The people would realize that the scientists went too far - and “chase them like you chase a rapacious wolf.”

Furthermore, Bernadette warns that a new, big war could break out at the turn of the Millennium. “On the eve of the year 2000 a final clash between the followers of Mohammed and the Christian nations will happen. In a horrible battle, 5.650.451 soldiers will loose their life and a bomb with great impact will be thrown onto a city in Persia.”

If the original text indeed says “thrown onto”, it would be a remarkable prediction; only since World War 2, bombs were thrown on cities. Air raids were completely unknown in Bernadette´s time. The great number of casualties leaves no doubt that she referred to a Nuclear bomb.

Further note, that Afghanistan became independent only in 1919 - until 1751 it was a part of Persia, during the 19th century it was under both, Persian and British/Indian influence.

“At the end”, Bernadette continued, “the sign of the Cross will conquer and all Muslims will embrace the Christian Faith. Great wealth will follow and the Lord will pour out His blessings over the faithful.” Poverty, disease and hunger have an end, every tenth person will have the power to heal.

“The 21st Century will be known as the Second Golden Age of mankind”, the seer concluded.
Please note: At the moment we have no possibility to check the veracity of Father LaGrande´s claims. We neither have the original manuscript nor the French text of the prophecy. On the other hand, the sheer fact that it was already published in 1998 is astonishing. Although Bernadette predicted the Great War for 1999, keep in mind that prophecies hardly give any accurate dates… I leave it to you to judge about the authenticity of this text. I hope and pray that the predicted Great War will not happen, and that we can reach the Golden Age without any tragic losses…

  1. War for 1999 ... Kosovo conflict?

Confer Fatima "predicting WW-II would break out during pontificate of Pius XI" ... well, it might have been the Communist-Conservative War, and that broke out in Spain well before WW-II and continued after it in Korea War, Vietnam War, warlike states in the 1945 and after Europe ...

  2. The University of Dayton in Ohio USA inquired into the matter of the purported secrets of Bernadete Soubirous cinfided in a private letter to Leo XIII. They were not able to verify the visit of the priest to the Vatican Library nor the existence of alledged letter at the Vatican Library. The Dayton U. statement follows.

Saint Bernadette and Pope Leo XIII

Q: Was a letter about five secrets written by Maria Bernarda Soubirous to Pope Leo XIII in 1879 recently found by Father Antoine La Grande?

A: News reports have circulated that a researcher, Father Antoine La Grande, a French priest, has discovered a long lost letter of St. Bernadette at the Vatican Library. The Marian Library/International Marian Research Institute has inquired at the Vatican Library concerning this matter. According to officials at the Library and the registry of visitors who do research at the library, no one by the name of Father La Grande nor any otherwise unknown patrons have done research at the library, which would indicate such a discovery.

Having received several letters on this topic, we did special research in the manuscript section of the Vatican Library and in the archives as well. No letter written to Pope Leo XIII mentioning these five secrets has been found.

We also checked references of admission to study in the library, but the French priest, Antoine La Grande, mentioned as discovering the letter there, has asked for a reader's card neither in the Vatican Library nor in the Vatican Archives.

The purpose of this letter to the editor of Tradcatknight is to inquire whether you have received new information that might corroborate the Lourdes secret.

  3. It is interesting that human-pig hybrids were reportedly created in 2017. How could anyone have envisioned that in 1998 when I first read about the St. Bernadette prophesies? And who would have envisioned the "Arab Spring" in 1998?
